Information on planned excavation work on the Engstlige Tunnel

As part of the expansion of the Lötschberg Base Tunnel, BLS Netz AG will be carrying out construction work on the upstream Engstlige Tunnel from the end of March 2026 until approximately the end of September 2026. The construction work will only be carried out during the week.

The construction site will be closed on weekends, public holidays and long weekends. Access to the Frutigresort campsite is guaranteed and will be signposted accordingly.

During the above-mentioned period (excluding public holidays), camping guests will receive a 20% discount on the plot price.

For groups of 10 people or more, we open by reservation. You are also welcome to make a reservation for fewer than 10 people. In this case, however, a flat rate of CHF 250.00 will be charged.
